New Year Sermon Series - Worship
As we begin the new year we remember the Wise Men who came to worship the new born King. And we invite you to join us for our housegroup and sermon series which will help us to consider what it means for us to come and worship, what it means to come into the presence of God, how we can hear Him through His Word, how we meet with him in the breaking of bread and finally what our response to receiving from Him should be.
If you've ever wondered why you come to church, this series is for you, if you've ever asked yourself 'I wonder what these things mean?' or 'why do we do that?', then this series is for you, if you think it's better to stay in bed than to worship God, then this series is definitely for you!! Once again there will be groups around the parish (contact us for more information about where and when) and the sermons will be online so you can listen to them again here.
At the same time we will be running a course to prepare children to receive communion and Bishop David will be visiting to conclude our sermon series and to formally admit the children who have taken part on Sunday 12th February.
