Christening

Also called Christening, baptism is a way of giving thanks and welcoming people into God’s worldwide family .  Through baptism we belong to God, we are members of the family of the Church, and we are beginning a new life.

Anyone can be baptised, no matter how old or young, as long as they haven’t been baptised before.  To be baptised at the Good Shepherd you have to be living in the parish, or have a strong connection with our church

To book a baptism you are invited to come along to our all age worship service on the last Sunday of the month, at 10am.  After the service in the hall over coffee, members of the pastoral team will take your details.  The hall can be booked for a reception please contact 01223 352151 or email Ruby Leyshon via enquiries@churchofthegoodshepherd.co.uk for further information after you have booked the service.
