Welcome to The Church of The Good Shepherd
We are a welcoming friendly church of all ages learning to love God and demonstrate His love to our neighbours. As a church we are growing and seeking God’s will for our community as we pray and study His word together.
Our hope and prayer is to see God’s kingdom come here in Arbury, King’s Hedges and Orchard Park and for lives to be transformed by the love of Jesus.
New Service times from September 2021
Our new service pattern starts on Sunday 12th September 2021
8:30am Said Holy Communion - all are welcome to join us for this simple comunion service with no hymns. service lasts about 30 mins.
10am Holy Communion - All are welcome to join us for a communion service with hymns and songs. We have our young peoples group 'inside/outside'. We all start together in the church and then those who want to can go outside for the groups.
We are still asking fthat those who are attending the service continue to wear masks, even whilst we are singing. The service is projected on the screen so there are no booklets are handed out, however if you are on the mailing list you will recieve the serivice in advance should you wish to do so. Communion is given with the wafer and the wine togehter, although you may just take the bread if you prefer. Refreshments are served in the church after the service.
